DOPA Analyst is targeting the research community and expert users. The tool will allow end users to benefit from our modelling infrastructure to compute, for example, the impact of a climate change scenario on the habitats of a selected species or to dynamically calculate the indicators proposed here for any area specified by the end-user. DOPA Analyst will also provide a set of remotely sensed ecological data obtained in near real time to allow end users to monitor fires, vegetation activity, rainfall, water bodies, etc. Environmental anomalies in the monitored variables can be detected by contrasting the environmental data against historical records. These anomalies can be characterized by their strength, their duration and their deviation from their expected occurrence in time, something typical of seasonal changes.

A first version of the DOPA Analyst is planned for 2016.
